Programme activities worldwide

In 2023, CDE ran internationally, regionally, or nationally focused activities within 72 projects in 64 countries worldwide. Key partner regions are Eastern Africa, mainland Southeast Asia, and, in South America, Peru.

CDE maintains a worldwide network of national and international research partnerships. Our cooperation activities, many of them with countries from the global South and East, enable us to better understand the impacts of global change and to develop appropriate strategies that are adapted to local and regional contexts. We also support Swiss and international academic networks that coordinate sustainability research.
